Radio Disney's Next Big Thing

Radio Disney had got to be my favorite radio station of all time. Over the past couple of months they've been doing this really cool thing The Next Big Thing. This is a competition for new artists that are trying to make it big in the music industry. When I heard about it on the radio, I thought that it was so cool. So I checked it out and there were so many talented people! Everyone that was in it had really good talent and I wished a lot of them could've won. But I recognized one group, Jonnie and Brooke, from our local city newspaper who had done an article on them. So I opened up there page and they were really good. I voted the highest I could and looked at some of the other people. So today, when I went on to the Radio Disney website, I remembered that they announced the NBT winner today! So I found the page, guess who won!?!?!?!?!?! Jonnie and Brooke! Congrats!

Hatching Pete Review

So I watched Hatching Pete on Friday and I thought it was really good. It was definitely a different kind of Disney Channel movie. It had a much more developed plot than other DC movies. That was a really nice aspect of it. I think that it was the only movie that had more "drama" than comedy. It seemed a lot more mature than any other DC movie too, which I really liked. The movie really is for all ages, and it delivers a really good message off being yourself and not hiding who you really are.

Band Slam

I first heard about this movie on one of my favorite blogs and instantly looked it up. It's got Vanessa Hugdens, Aly Michalka (from Aly & AJ), and a new comer to the musical world, Gaelan Connell. The trailer I watched looked good. It looks like a funny, musical, comedy, with a bit of romance kind of movie. I can't wait to see it this summer! If you want to watch the trailer, I would advise seeing it on Youtube.

Hatching Pete

The new Disney Channel Original movie premieres this Friday! I'm so excited. I think this movie will really good, because it's about finding yourself and breaking out of your shell and being who you really are. I'll have a review after it airs. Can't wait!

High School Musical 4

At the beginning of this month High School Musical 4 was announced! I was sooooo excited. I went to the Internet to get the facts and was a little dissappointed. They are going to have an all new cast! What was with the Freshman in HSM3 and saying that Sharpay was going to come back? Why did they film a scene with the new main three at the beginning of the next year? I was mad but a got over it really fast. I'm really glad that they are going to keep on with the series and keep all us fans happy. I can't wait until summer 2010!

Jonas Brothers' 4th Studio Album

These guys sure are busy. Their fourth studio album is called "Line Vines and Trying Times". I definitely have to tip my hat off to them for doing sooooooo much an being able to keep all their fans happy with everything they have done in the past year. From a new album, to a 3D movie, to a TV series, and then a fourth CD. Wow! Congrats!

Disneymania 7

I am a huge fan of the Disneymania series! I have been waiting forever for anything that might have a scrap of truth to it about the seventh one. I finally found this cover off a blog and it looks like the best one yet. It looks really, well, real. I can understand most of the people on the cover. Meaghen Martin obviously with her new song "When You Wish Upon a Star". Miley and Selena being huge Disney stars already. Jordin, David, and Taylor having found huge fame in the Disney fan base over the past year. And do I really need to say anything about the Jo Bros, really? But Katy Perry!?!?!?!?!? When I think Disney, Katy Perry is not the first one that comes to mind. She is pretty big in the music industry today, so I can understand that, but I just don't get it. That's the only thing that might make this cover yet another fake. But we'll have to see.

Hannah Montana: The Movie Review

A couple of friends and I went to go see the Hannah Montana movie last week and I was a little wary in going to see it. I haven't always been the biggest Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus fan, but I was suprised! The movie was really good! The acting was good and all the music was really good. I loved the country music stars in it too. Taylor Swift's song fit perfectly into the scene and the plot but I thought Bucky Covington playing the guitar in to background was a little random. I thought Rascal Flatts in the family was really cool. They were my favorite part in the family members.
Overall, the movie was really good and you can tell that Disney spent a lot of time (and money) in this movie and they did a really good job.

My New Blog!

I decided that it's time to make a new blog. My last one was definitely lacking in some areas and now I've decided that I need to make a new one. This blog will be entirely about Disney Channel and such. Disney Channel, Disney Channel stars, Radio Disney, Disney movies, and everything else in between. Not many people my age still pay attention to all the things listed above. But I'm hooked and can't get away! I hope you enjoy!
