Suite Life Review

The new episode of Suite Life that was on Friday was a very different one I felt. I know that most of them have a message at the end, but I felt that this one was more prevalent than others. The whole storyline of "Better Life" sucking away from your real life really applies to today. And then London's addiction to her cell phone was really applicable too. But overall, a good episode.
I've decided that I want to start watching "Sonny with a Chance", so prepare to start seeing reviews starting soon!
Tune into Disney Channel this Friday for the one hour Suite Life event, "Lost at Sea"!

TOMORROW!!!!!

Tomorrow is the day! Finally! "Kiss & Tell" is being released tomorrow! We've been waiting so long and now it's finally here!
I listened to the Planet Premiere on Radio Disney on Saturday and it was really good! I was a little scared that Selena wouldn't be able to pull it off, but she sure did!
I think that the songs on the album have a Paramore/Hilary Duff feel to them. The songs are rock but pop, rock like Paramore but Disney pop like Hilary Duff. But very unique and really good!
Make sure that you pick up your copy tomorrow wherever CDs are sold! And please DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT!!!!!

Kiss & Tell Request

Hey everybody! I have a small request to make to everyone excited about Selena's debut album "Kiss & Tell". I've noticed more and more sites putting the CD up for download and everything. These songs have become more and more easy to get since they have been premiering the songs on Radio Disney, but please do not download them! This is illegal! When you download a song or even a whole CD, you're stealing from the artist. Now, do you really want to steal from Selena Gomez? How do you think that would make her feel to know that her fans, the ones that have been with her the whole way, are going behind her back and stealing her hard work from her? This post may seem a little harsh, but that's how it is.
Selena and the Scene are showing their songs on Radio Disney early because they want us to be excited about them and get ready to go buy and support them, not for people to steal from them! It is wrong to download music, so please don't do it.
I plan on going out and buying my CD when it comes out as a loyal and supportive fan, and I hope you will too. Thank you.

Kiss & Tell Video

Hey! I made a video/commercial for "Kiss & Tell". The music is recorded from Selena's last Facebook webcast. It's pretty short but I really like it. Tell me what you think...

Demi/Camp Rock News!

I seriously just had an epiphany and felt the extreme need to blog about it!
So, I found out a couple of days ago that Demi and David are going on tour in the fall! The last three dates of their summer tour were postponed to the very end of October. Why? Because Demi is filming for Camp Rock 2, meaning that they will be done filming by the end of October! How cool is that! I don't know why I didn't piece that together before.

Emily Osment "All the Right Wrongs"

Here is the cover art for Emily Osment's EP, "All the Right Wrongs". Here is the tracklisting:

1. All The Way Up

2. You Are The Only One

3. I Hate The Homecoming Queen

4. Found Out About You

5. Average Girl

6. What About Me

"All the Way Up" is definitely one of those songs that starts to grow on you after a while. The first time I heard it I was like, "Uh...maybe not...", but now it's stuck in my head and I sing along to it every time it comes in Radio Disney. I'm seriously tempted to pay the ridiculous price of $1.29 on iTunes for it. But it comes out on the 27th of October, so I might buy it. I might need to listen to some of the other songs. "I Hate The Homecoming Queen" either sounds like a really fun song or a really powerful ballad. "Found Out About You" is probably a hard core rockin' out kind of sing and "Average Girl" and "You Are the Only One" sound like ballads too.

See you October 27th when it comes out!

Suite Life Review

There was a new episode of Suite Life on last night and I was really exciting about this one because it seemed like we would be getting to know London's family a little bit better. And we did! And it was AWESOME!!!! We got to see London in a different light and even Bailey in her own element. This episode also showed how much time and money Disney Channel spends on the sets of their shows.
And I have officially decided that Zack is evil....officially. This scam was probably worse than when he spent all of Cody's money. What he did to Cody in this episode was horrid! But, I guess in the end it all paid off.
Another great episode! Next week, Zack turns in one of Cody's previous papers and pays the price, then the week after that is "Lost at Sea"!

Christmas from the Heart

Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides

This was revealed at D23 on last Friday! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Make it Happen

Here is the cover art that I made for the song that Selena & David sing in the episode of Wizards called "Make it Happen". I watched that episode a few days ago and thought that I should make an album cover for the song. I really liked the song in the episode and wished that they had put it on the Wizards Soundtrack.

Selena & the Scene Webcast

Today was the second webcast that Selena is doing to promote her CD Kiss & Tell, but this time, their was an added bonus. Her band, the Scene, was with her. IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!
I didn't take notes this time, so I'll just tell you about it. It was really cool to see how her band interacts with her and vice versa. You can totally tell that her band has been in the music industry for a long time, and that Selena is having an awesome time working with such awesome people. There were so many cool moments during the webcast, that I can't even begin to name them. One question was "What's the coolest thing you've learned recently?" And Selena answered "That polar bears have clear fur. Since their skin is white, their fur looks white." Who knew?!?
They would answer all there questions with such spirit and pazzazz (haha...fun word) and you could really tell that they are loving what they're doing. They sang too! There was a part where they sang a little bit of a few songs. They sang some of "Kiss & Tell", "I Won't Apologize", and did a full length acoustic performance of "Falling Down"!
They also told us that starting next week, they will premiere a new song everyday on Radio Disney. Then on Saturday they will be premiering the whole album...I'm assuming. They've done that in the past with new CD's so yeah.

Free Songs on iTunes

Every week I like to check iTunes' free song of the week. They have had some really good songs in the past, so you never know what you'll find. Can guess who it was this week? KSM's "Read Between the Lines"! KSM.....FREE! They aren't my favorite but for free...why not? They also tend to have good music videos for free too. A couple of weeks ago Justin Beiber's music video for "One Time" was free, but the reviews were bad, so I opted out.
Katharine McPhee's new song "Say Goodbye" came out this week too. Her album was going to come out next month on the 6th, but it was pushed back all the way to January! So this was a really good song to leave us with until the new year.

Suite Life on Deck Review

I know that Suite Life was almost on a week ago, but I'm still going to review it.
This was another classic Suite Life episode! I found the lack of Moseby to be a little refreshing truthfully. But the parts that he was in were really funny. Zack's bully/girlfriend was hilarious! That actress is so good at being mean then funny then shy then crazy! That just goes to show the extent that Disney Channel goes to to find the right people.
There was something interesting that I would like to note about the episode though. When Zack goes into the Armadillo after Moseby taps him on the shoulder, you see a cast on Zack's arm! HELLO?!? What happened? I'll see what I can dig up =)

Race to Witch Mountain Review

Sorry I haven't been on very much lately. School and everything is getting in full swing. But, last Friday my family Redboxed "Race to Witch Mountain". It came out in the spring and came out on DVD a few weeks ago.
I really liked this movie. I was nice to not have to wait for it to start getting good. There wasn't much character development in the beginning, we just got to know them all as the story unfolded. I loved the relationship of the brother and sister, Seth and Sarah. I really like books and movies that have that kind of a strong brother/sister relationship because it reminds me of my sister and I.
I liked the Disney Star "cameos". "Fly on the Wall" played in the taxi and there was another one but I can't remember it.....but it was good.
I recommend this movie to all ages and all families that want a good adventure flick.

Selena & the Scene Webcast #1

So yesterday I watched Selena's live webcast on Facebook and it was so good! The other ones that I've watched have been good, but I think this was the best one yet. I always say that I'm going to put what she said on here, so I took notes this time so I can share the cool info.

Selena shared some really cool stuff. She said her next webcast will be with her band. She talked about being on "Barney" when she was a kid and said "not many people can say they rocked out with Barney!" She told us that it took her two years to complete her album and she told us the names of the people in her band (the Scene). Evan is on guitar, Joey is on Bass, and Greg plays the drums. She went through her purse and showed us her CD! She held it and showed it to us! It was way cool. She answered some random questions that I'll tell you in bullet points.

  • Likes "Umbrella" by All Time Low (Rihanna Cover....AMAZING song)
  • Favorite Movie: Wizard of Oz
  • Favorite Song on Album: I Won't Apologize
  • Favorite Bible Verse: John 3:15
  • Favorite Song (at the moment): "Love Drunk" (last time with was "Gravity")
  • Currently obsessed with country music
  • Favorite thing to do in spare time: Nothing
  • Loves CNN
  • Favorite Book: Dear John by Nicholas Sparks

My First Cover Art!

So I was asked to make some cover art for the other blog that I am a part of and I came up with these:

Here's one I made for Selena & The Scene.

Here's one for Mitchel Musso's album. I really think that he is overlooked a lot in the music industry. His CD went all the way to #2, right behind Lady Gaga! His music is mature and just really good. I think people have a misconception because he's on Hannah Montana.

This is for "1,000 Mile" for David's Fan Pack. It was one of my favorite songs when Vanessa Carlton sang it but David put his signature on it with his version.

This is my favorite one! "Zero Gravity" is such a good song. It has the lyrics of a ballad but the beat of a dance/club song. It's my favorite David Archuleta song ever!

Week #1

I changed the blog around (not much though) for the first week of the countdown to Selena Gomez and the Scene's debut album "Kiss & Tell"! Hope you like it!

Suite Life on Deck Review

I really liked the new Suite Life episode. I'm liking the new season more and more. I really liked how they brought back Addison from the international date-line episode. She was her normal crazy self, which was awesome! I thought it was interesting to see Zack get scammed instead of him scamming someone else. It definitely gave him a taste of his own medicine!

Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam

Sorry it took me forever to do this. I was out of town on Saturday so when the logo was released, I didn't get the chance to blog about it. So this is the logo for Camp Rock 2! I really like how it looks new but still has the flavor of the first one. The colors really make me think it's going to be a spring movie! I really want it to!

Toy Story 3 and Cars 2

The next two Pixar movies are going to be AMAZING!!!!!! Why you ask, because they're sequels! Next summer, Toy Story 3 comes out!

There's been a lot of drama about Toy Story 3. First, Disney started making the movie with another company, They had a plot, images from the movie, and everything. But they did this all behind Pixar's back. But, the plot was really good! If it had been released, it probably would've come out two or three years ago. I was about the Buzz Lightyear toys getting recalled due to lead poisoning. When it would've come out, it would've been very relevant to the times, considering that's when the scare was.

This action was just one of the reasons why they say "A Disney presentation of a Pixar film". They broke up and were no longer the same company/branch of each other. . . . and Michael Eisner wasn't the best thing for Disney, but that's another story.

When the trailer premiered with UP!, I was so excited! I've been waiting for this forever! And now it's so close!

But wait! This October, Disney is re-releasing Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in 3-D!

Now for Cars 2.
The premise for this one is a race around the world. I'm sure that some other big shot racer from wherever in the world is going to challenge the great Lightning McQueen to a race around the world and McQueen can't say no. Everyone in Radiator Springs is probably going to tell him not to do it, because he hasn't raced in so long. But Sally's going to say "Do what you're heart tells you" and he'll imagine himself winning and being even more famous than he already is. Then he and Mater will go around the world having crazy adventures. That's not the real plot, but I may have just saved people ten bucks =).

Marvel Movies

I guess now that Marvel is a part of Disney, I'm allowed to do this. Although, I probably would've eventually =).
So, now that summer is done, I've been looking towards the summers of the future. In the next few years, we are going to see some amazing movies. From Toy Story 3 and Cars 2 (which I will post about later), the conclusion of the Harry Potter series, and some awesome superhero movies. Marvel is really bringing it with movies over the next few years and here are a few of them.

First is Spider-Man 4

It has been announced that Toby Maguire is signed for 7 Spider-Man movies. Although this may have changed considering this was about five years ago, I'm still hoping that there will be. The villains keep getting better and the special effects are amazing. So far, the rumors for Spider-Man 4 are all over the place. Vulture, Lizard, the Shocker, and a vampire. Hopefully the list will be much smaller when the movie comes out.

Next is the Avengers

We saw the beginning of the Avenger series with Iron Man last summer. Then shortly after that was the reboot of Hulk. Next summer is Iron Man 2, then Thor, then Captain America, and then the finale of Avengers. My favorite thing about superheroes is when they come together and make a team. Like the Fantastic Four, Teen Titans, and Justice League. I can't wait for the first ever team superhero movie!

Disney + Marvel = ??

Yesterday Disney announced that they would be buying Marvel Comics. You know, the guys behind X-Men, Iron Man, and Spider-Man? So they actually purchased Marvel comics for 4 BILLION DOLLARS!!!!! Holy cow that's a lot of money. But what, get ready to pick up your jaw again, because they bought it with CASH!!!! I'm talking a whole lot of green people! The final transaction was made with stocks and cash on August 28th.

What will this have in store for both Disney and Marvel? More movies coming out faster? But one thing is for sure, the actors will be getting a much bigger check! The Marvel movies will now be advertised on Radio Disney and Disney Channel (probably) and Disney movies through Marvel.

Another very important thing to consider is Marvel coming into the parks. If it would go anywhere, it would be in Hollywood Backlot. A 3-D movie thing would be sooooo AWESOME!!!! And since California Adventure is going under a huge re-model soon, how long has this been in the works. Have they been planning this for a really long time?

I'm a DC Comics person myself, but Marvel will be brought even higher than DC Comics in the next years. I think more movies will be made, more advertising will be done in both venues, and things will be stepped up on both sides. I'm really looking forward to what Disney and Marvel have in store for each other.

Wiztober is back!

I know that October is a long way away, but it's going to be even better this year with Wiztober. Disney Channel celebrated this last year and they are bringing it back with new episodes on every Friday in October. They kick off the month with an encore of the movie, then the new episodes. Here's from the official site:
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9 (8:00 – 8:30 p.m., ET/PT)
· "Franken-girl" -- Justin becomes fed up with Alex constantly going through his stuff and creates a female monster to guard his room and to think like Alex. However Justin's plan backfires when the monster and Alex become fast friends.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16 (8:00 – 8:30 p.m., ET/PT)
· "Halloween" -- After the Russos are told by the Waverly Place Merchants’ Association that their haunted house has never been scary enough in Halloweens past, the family comes together to create the scariest haunted house ever.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23 (8:00 – 8:30 p.m., ET/PT)
· "Monster Hunter" – After Justin masters his ten-thousandth spell, he signs up for Monster Hunting as the next step in completing his wizard training. "Hannah Montana's" Moises Arias guest stars.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30 (8:00 – 8:30 p.m., ET/PT)
· "Three Monsters" – Justin begins his Monster Hunting course and gets more than he bargains for when Juliet and her vampire family turn out to be the three monsters he’s searching for. "Hannah Montana's" Moises Arias guest stars.

So the new season premiers on Friday, October 9th! Be there or be scared....OoOoO....that was kinda lame =)

17 Again Review

So my favorite sister in the world (I've only got one sister) rented "17 Again" last night and me and my family watched it for our family night. And it was sooooo good!

This was definitely not HSM for Zac Efron. Although he was a basketball player and he did do a little bit of dancing. And it's not a kid movie! Which i was surprised by since all the little girls of the world would want to see Zac Efron. Their is some cussing, so viewer discretion advised.....but not really =).

Their were also a lot of Disney Stars in it as well. The obvious, Zac Efron was in it. Sterling Knight from "Sonny With a Chance" was in it, playing the main character's son. His part was so different than from SWAC. And he looks different too, his hair is cut different and is a different color as well. Michelle Trachtenberg from "Ice Princess" played the daughter. Her part was very mature and relevant to today. And a less well known Disney Star, Tyler Steelman from "Suite Life of Zack and Cody" was in it for about 10 minutes. On Disney Channel, he played one of the twins friends. He was in the episode of the first day of high school, and in the one were Zack had to go to summer school.

Overall, it was a really good movie. There were some really funny parts and then some good emotional parts as well. I think it would be best to watch with a group of friends on a Friday night of with an older sibling. But it was still really good!
