Another New Miley Cyrus Song!

I was just surfing around and I found this really cool fan-made single cover for a new Miley Cyrus song. It's called "Voyage to India". I haven't heard anything else about it yet but I'm sure it's going to be really cool. I'm hoping for a deep base in this song with some really cool instrumental parts and some spot on vocals. It'll probably have a Indian feel to it (obviously, because of the title), but I can't wait for this song to surface online or on the radio!
I heard "Party in the USA" on Radio Disney today! It was so cool to hear on there! I'm sure that it'll be #1 on there in no time!

New Miley Cyrus Song "Party in the USA"

So all the other Disney blogs and everyone else is blogging about Miley Cyrus' new song, "Party in the USA". I listened to the song this morning and it's actually really good! I wasn't much of a fan for her last singles ("7 Things" and "Fly on the Wall") but this one is really good. It has a completely different sound and I think this will be another Miley Cyrus hit.

HSM: On Stage!

Cool news! I got a call from a friend yesterday and she invited me to go see "High School Musical: On Stage!" I am so excited. A couple of years ago, I watched the documentary that Disney Channel did on the high school that did they play and it got me so excited about it. Ever since then I've been wanting to see it, and now I am! Woohoo! I'll have a full review for the blog after the performance.

Selena Gomez's version of "Magic" by Pilot

I got a text yesterday reminding me of the Planet Premiere of Selena Gomez's new song called "Magic". The song is a remake, the song was originally by Pilot. I remember the song from all the old AT&T commercials where they would go "Oh, oh, it's magic..." and then they would dial the phone. But that's not part of this post.
I think Selena did a good job on the song. It introduced her style of singing but didn't show all of her talent as a singer (which we all know she has with "Cruella DeVill" and "One and the Same"). It was a good primer for the "Wizards of Waverly Place" soundtrack and Selena's debut CD, which comes out in the fall.
I'm still not sure if I'll buy the "Wizards" soundtrack yet. There are some new songs by Meaghen Martin, Drew Sealey, Mitchel Musso, and of course Selena Gomez. But some of the songs are recycled songs that Disney has used in the past. Some of these include "Some Call it Magic" by Raven and "Do You Believe in Magic" by 78violet (Aly & AJ). These are good songs, but it would be nice if there were some news songs. This may just fill my Disneymania 7 void for now.

"Wizards vs. Vampires" Part #1 Review

So tonight I watched "Wizards vs. Vampires" tonight on Disney Channel and it was the best episode of Wizards ever! The script was awesome and the episode really showcased how close the entire cast is with each other. There has never been an episode with Mrs. Russow and Harper just talking, and there has never been a time when Alex went after Max to get rid of him.
This episode really just confirmed how much I like this show and how much everyone else and even Disney loves this show. Can't wait for the next parts in the saga!

Christmas in July!

I was going to wait until tomorrow (the 25th) to make this post but I just couldn't wait. A couple of days ago I really wanted to listen to some Christmas music so I popped this CD in my stereo and listened to every song. A lot of the songs on "All Wrapped Up!" are now my favorite Christmas songs of all time. 78violet (Aly & AJ) are amazing in "Greatest Time of Year" and Demi's version of "Wonderful Christmastime" is one that I could listen to over and over again.
But we've got a lot to look forward to this Christmas season. Before it all begins, Selena Gomez's debut solo album comes out. And then David Archuleta's Christmas CD comes out, which he is actually recording this summer while on tour with Demi. And hopefully, we will be able to get Disneymania 7 before the Holidays arrive as well. I hope that Hollywood Records does another "All Wrapped Up!" with more songs and more Disney Stars. Happy Christmas in July everybody!

Demi Lovato "Here We Go Again" CD Review

Demi's new CD came out a couple of days ago and it's been really cool listening to her new songs. I think that when singers first get into the music industry and put out there first album, they still have hopes for a second and what they want to do with it. When a second album is released it is all that they want it to be, showing more of who they are and want they can give to music as an artist. I found this in the Jo Bros' new CD (even though it was there fourth CD) and Demi's new CD.

The songs sound a lot more like her voice live, which I think is really cool. It gives the fans a better feeling of what she truly sounds like. I think some of the songs have a John Mayer-ish kind of feel, which I guess is to be expected considering he helped in the writing process. The song "Here We Go Again" is, I think, the only song that sounds like anything off her last CD. But, there is a song that when it starts, you think that you're listening to "Don't Forget.

My favorite song on her CD has got to be "Every Time You Lie". It's such an upbeat song and it was really cool live. When she sang it at her concert, she got her backup singer to go come down to the main stage and sing it with her. It was one of my favorites live and it's my favorite on her CD.

Disney's Friends for Change: Project Green

As you may have seen on Disney Channel for the past couple of weeks, there have been commercials with Disney Channel Stars talking about Disney's Friends for Change. I checked out the website and it is really cool! You just go on, log on to the website, and pledge. Each challenge describes what you can do to be a part of this amazing project. From saving electricity to saving water, everything they suggest is easy to set into any lifestyle. As well as saving the Earth, you are also saving money by doing what they say. Unplugging things that you aren't using, carpooling, and turning off your lights when your not in the room are all easy things to do, all we have to do is start. You may also remember all the Disney Stars saying to "reg and pledge". And so am I, I, DC Dude, promise to reg and pledge to save our Earth. I will save water and electricity that will help the Earth and help my family save money for other things. I hope all of you will go to www.disney.com/friendsforchange to reg and pledge too!

Demi & David Tour News

I just visited a really good site that is all about David Archuleta, and I found some very interesting news. KSM isn't going to be touring with Demi & David anymore! They will be replaced by Jordan Pruitt...I'm officially jealous. Jordan Pruitt is one of those singers on Radio Disney that when one of her songs come on I can't help but sing along to. And her past songs on Disneymania have been really good. KSM was good, but Jordan Pruitt would've been AWESOME!!!!

WOOHOO! Demi's new CD is #1 on iTunes!! That's so cool! I may end up buying there if I can't get out today!

"Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana" Review

Tonight I watched the Disney Channel special, "Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana". I've been waiting for this for such a long time and I was so excited to watch it in Disney Channel East (so I could watch it at 5 instead of 8).
The event started with the episode for "Wizards of Waverly Place". It began with telling why the Russos got on the S.S. Tipton and followed on through there. Hannah Montana was mentioned in the first episode but not featured. The plot from "Wizards" carried over a little bit into "Suite Life on Deck". "Suite Life" was the only episode that had everyone from all the shows. That one had to be my favorite one from the three. And again, the plot from "Suite Life" carried over to "Hannah Montana" and gave a close to the mini-series. During Hannah Montana, they cut back to Malibu and showed the trouble that Oliver and Jackson got in while everyone was gone. That was funny but I wish that they had had the Russos during the episode.
Overall, it was really good. I loved the references to "That's So Suite Life of Hannah Montana". I can't wait for them to do it again, hopefully including "Sonny With a Chance" and "Jonas". Do I see "Jonas With a Chance on Waverly Place" in the future?
You can catch "Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana" on DVD on September 22nd!

"Good Luck Charlie"

Big news! Disney Channel is going to have a new show on starting next year called "Good Luck Charlie". The show stars Bridgit Mendler (who is in "Wizards vs. Vampires" airing later this month) and Jason Dolley ("Hatching Pete" and "Minutemen").
The show revolves around a family who welcomes a new baby sister and the adventures that the kids have with her. Bridgit Mendler's character creates video diaries for her baby sister, Charlie (hence the title) to remember her by when she is no longer at home.
I think the series has an interesting concept. I think it's definitely going back to the roots of Disney Channel and having a show revolve around "normal people" living out their lives. To me, it sounds like a mix of "Even Stevens" with the family going through funny things together and "That's so Raven" with the brother and sister combo craziness. I can't wait for 2010 when it starts!

New Feature!!!!

So I've decided to do something new, and that is give everyone the chance to e-mail me with questions about the site, requests for what you'd like to see, or if you just need someone to talk to. You can e-mail me at dcdudesspot@yahoo.com and I'll send something back in return! Can't wait to get your e-mails!

New Music

I just added some of the Jonas Brothers' new music off there new album "Lines, Vines, and Trying Times". I really like there new stuff, so I put it on! Hope you enjoy it too!

New Layout Under Construction

I'm making a new layout for the blog that goes with Disney Channel's "Summer of Stars". The blog will be brighter and I hope more exciting. I'll probably use the one up right now when I'm making something new. Can't wait for you to see it!

Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie

Oh my goodness! Disney Dude posted the movie poster for the Wizards of Waverly Place Movie and it looks awesome. I really think that Disney Channel put a lot into this movie and it'll be really good!

Another Cinderella Story Movie Review

"Another Cinderella Story" was on Disney Channel on Saturday, and I had never seen it before. So of course, I set to record and watched it with my sister.
The movie started off fast and I thought that it kind of ended all of a sudden. I was looking forward to Drew and Selena perform "New Classic" but they only sang one verse and the chorus. I was a little disappointed.
But, I had never seen Drew Seeley act before, and he did a really good job. Not that his role was all that demanding, considering he's already a singer/dancer. But Selena also did a good job. It was cool to see another one of her many talents.
Overall, it was a good movie with good acting and even better music.

Demi Lovato and David Archuleta Concert!

First off, pause the music at the bottom so you can watch the videos.

So on Thursday night, my sister and I went to go see Demi and David in concert at the Jobing.com Arena. I was really excited because I had never seen Demi live before and I knew most of her songs, so I was ready. We got there and found our seats and listened to the Radio Disney music playing. I named all the people for my sister, and listened/sang along to most of them. "The Hero in Me" by Emily Osment came on and I told my sister who it was when I hear the people sitting behind us ask "Who sings this?" I laughed and then heard one of them whisper "It's Emily Osment. That's what the guy in front of us said." I laughed some more and listened to the rest of the song.

First up was KSM. They only sang four songs, but I guess that was good. I've decided that they are not my favorite band, but you could tell that they really enjoy what they were doing and that was cool. They opened with "I Want You to Wany Me" then closed with "Distracted". They got everybody pumped and ready for Demi and David!

My favorite part of David's performace had to be his entrance. They had this big curtain covering the stage and a heartbeat countdown going faster and faster, leading up to his entrance. They pulled the curtain back and there he was. He started by singing "Touch My Hand", which is a perfect concert song. He sang "Waiting For Yesterday", "You Can", "Works for Me", "Zero Gravity", "Apoligize", "My Hands", "Barriers", and "Crush". He really did an amazing job. I was at his concert in Arizona in March, and I can't decide if he was better then, or on Thursday. I think with a bigger venue, he was able to do more with the stage, but I think with a smaller stage and smaller audience, he was more personal and more open. Enjoy the pictures and video!

After Daivd there was a twenty minute break. It was just enough time to talk about the first two performances. They played more Radio Disney music and had some commercials for "Sonny with a Chance" and "Disney's Friends for Change". But after a while, the lights went dark and this happened. Don't worry, the shaking isn't an earthquake =)

Demi's perfomance was so amazing! I really think that she was born to be a performer. She just owned that stage when she was on. For those that have listened to her recorded voice, she is way better live. While she was singing, her voice never cracked, and she didn't forget any of her words.

She opened with "La La Land", then sang "So Far, So Great", the theme song to "Sonny With a Chance". During "So Far, So Great", there was a video slideshow on one of the big screens of clips from the show. Demi sang a lot of songs. The only one's she didn't sing off her first CD were "The Middle", "Believe in Me", and "On the Line". When she sang "This is Me", she had a little girl from the audience named Stefana (yes, I remember. But how can you forget an awesome name like that?) come on stage with her and sing the chorus. It had to be a 15 out of 10 on the cute scale. I don't really think that Stefana realized that she was singing "This is Me" with Demi Lovato in front of hundreds of people, but she was quite good. I was really glad that Demi did that because it's one of my favorites, and now I have another reason to like it. She sang three or four songs of her new CD, "Remember December", "Got Nothin' on Me" (I think that's what it's called), "Here We Go Again", and one more that I can't remember the name of. I think my new favorite song by her is either "Remember December" or "Here We Go Again". Both have really good lyrics and she performed both really well. I think after she sang "Here We Go Again", she went backstage. Lots of people left thinking she was done, but she came back out in a new outfit and sang two more songs. Her first was "Don't Forget" (which is such a good song) and "Get Back". I thought it was funny that people started to leave even though her mircophone was still on the stage and the lights hadn't turned on yet. But she sang her last two songs just as good as all the other ones and it was a good ending to the concert.

The videos take a really long time to load, so I'll put more on later.

Camp Rock 2 . . . finally!

So I was blog surfing on my favorite blogs today (Disney Dude Entertainment & Teen Entertainment) and I saw that they had posted stuff on Camp Rock 2. I wasn't really sure if it was true so I went to Disney Channel's Press Release site and there it was, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam!!!! Oh my gosh! It's going to be so good! The movie starts filming after Demi and the Jo Bros are done touring and will probably come out early next year (I hope!). Here is the official storyline brought to you by Disney:

The sequel's storyline follows Mitchie, Shane, Jason, Nate and their friends as they return to Camp Rock for another great summer of music and fun. However they soon learn that a new state-of-the-art music/performance camp, Camp Star, has opened across the lake and has lured away many of Camp Rock instructors and campers -- putting the future of Camp Rock in jeopardy.
And when Camp Star's hotshot performer, Luke Williams, challenges Camp Rock to a musical showdown to see which camp really has the stronger musical talent, everyone prepares for the ultimate battle of the bands. Meanwhile, in a classic "Romeo and Juliet" twist, Nate falls for the daughter of the owner of the rival camp.
Returning are Demi Lovato as Mitchie Torres; Joe Jonas as Shane Gray; Kevin Jonas as Jason; Nick Jonas as Nate; Meaghan Martin as Tess Tyler; Alyson Stoner as Caitlyn Geller; Anna Maria Perez de Tagle as Ella; Roshon Fegan as Sander; Daniel Fathers as Brown; and Maria Canals-Barrera as Connie Torres.

As Demi Lovato says "I can't wait. So far, so great!"

Another Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana Update

So, I just went onto another website and I found the reason for the three-part thing. Each part serves an episode in one of the series. The first episode is for "Wizards of Waverly Place", the second is "Suite Life on Deck", and the last part is "Hannah Montana". Each part I think is going to focus on that shows characters and feature the others as guest stars. Should be really interesting and really cool!

Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana Update

So I was on my Tivo today to set "Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana" and I discovered something totally cool! The show is going to be a three-part series! I am so excited! I thought that it was just going to be a one part, half hour show that needed to an hour long to put tons of stuff in it. But no, three-part work of amazingness! I can't wait! The shows airs on July 17th!

Disneymania 7...again...

It's been more than a year since Disneymania 6 came out and I'm probably not the only one wondering this...where is Disneymania 7? I've seen all the covers that look real enough, but are they? And more recently a track listing has come about. But I don't really understand Katy Perry being on it, even if she is. We already know that Drew Seeley recorded a track for Disneymania 7 of a remake from "The Little Mermaid" from Broadway (which by the way is super cool). But I'm dying for the official announcement of Disneymania 7! Let's hope that it's soon.

Jonas Engagement!

On one of my favorite blogs, http://www.disneysdudesentertainment.blogspot.com/, Disney Dude blogged about Kevin Jonas' engagement to longtime girlfriend, Danielle Deleasa, are engaged. I think this is really cool! I'm very happy for the two of them. They deserve nothing but the best. I can't wait to see more of the two together. But a question arises, what of the band? I think they should still stay together, but I think it might be a little bit different. The oldest member of the band being married and his little brothers are in the band. And what happens when Baby Jonas comes along? Do solo careers or a two brother band await the Jonas Brothers? Only time can tell....

New Layout!!!

Hey everybody! Here is my new layout with a logo that I made! I really like it and I hope you do too!

Temporary Layout

The layout you see on the blog may be a little boring, but I promise, there will hopefully be a new one before the day is done!
